WADA Compliant Formulations

Our services for active individuals are provided with careful consideration to meet WADA guidelines for treatments.

The vitamins we use are not on the prohibited list and our infusions are designed to remain within the applicable guidelines.

Under the 100ml Threshold

WADA guidelines state that no more than 100ml of fluid is permitted within a 12-hour period without a TUE. Our customised treatments are designed to remain below this threshold.

Iron Infusions

Iron is a critical element necessary for the oxygen-carrying capacity of haemoglobin in muscle, tissues and red blood cells. Iron infusion therapy is administered by our registered nurses following appropriate clinical assessment.

Please note: Iron infusions are NOT available as part of our mobile booking service due to the clinical monitoring requirements involved. Iron infusions are carried out at our clinic only. Our clinic is equipped with a defibrillator and first aid equipment.

THE PROCESS

What to expect

1. Clinical Assessment
Your appointment begins with a consultation and review of your relevant medical history, blood results, and clinical suitability for treatment.

2. Prescription and Preparation
If appropriate, prescribing requirements are confirmed prior to treatment. Our team will ensure the necessary documentation and preparation steps have been completed before your appointment. If you have already received a prescription and recent blood test results from your GP, please bring both with you to your appointment. This allows our team to review your documentation and proceed with the next steps of your care.

3. Cannulation and Pre-Infusion Checks
A registered nurse will insert an intravenous cannula and complete the appropriate pre-infusion checks before treatment begins.

4. Iron Infusion Administration
Your iron infusion is administered by a registered nurse in a clinical setting, with care provided in accordance with relevant protocols and monitoring requirements.

5. Monitoring During Treatment
You will be monitored throughout the infusion, with close observation for comfort, tolerance, and any adverse reactions.

6. Post-Infusion Observation
Following completion of the infusion, you will remain under observation for a period of time as advised by your treating team before discharge.

7. Aftercare and Follow-Up
Before leaving, you will be provided with aftercare information and guidance regarding any follow-up requirements.
